About Zolutions - Yachting Consultancy

An independent, Bilingual (English - Thai) Yacht Consultant with over 10 years experience in the U.K. and Thailand Marine industry. Qualified in Engineering routes through to Yacht Management and Project Management, with many successful completions of retrofitting, refit and repair projects while holding the reputation for ensuring projects are completed on time.

With nearly 10 years experience working in Thailand yachting industry, Zolutions has created a solid and trustworthy network of yacht professionals throughout Thailand. All yacht professionals in our network have profound reputations and with an outstanding high quality workmanship, guaranteed to clients satisfactions.

• Acting as owner's representative dealing with yards, contractors and agents to ensure a smooth running of yacht operations and yachting projects.
• Working closely with clients and contractors to assess work to be done and ensure full understanding of duties and responsibilities of both parties thereby eliminating or reducing misunderstandings and conflicts at a later date.
• Locate/recommend and negotiate with local suppliers to ensure best advice and costs for the client.
• Daily co-ordination with contractors to ensure works being carried out as per schedule and to the correct quality and standards.
• A weekly updated report to clients

Brief History

After being in the Thailand yachting industry for nearly 10 years, the founder of Zolutions noticed some problems yacht owners and contractors are facing.

• Communication barriers between parties, yacht owners and contractors which result in a misunderstanding of work scope, work expectation and ending up in tears for both parties.
• Yacht owners don't know who to trust and what level of service to expect from contractors.
• Quality of workmanship
• Contractors taking advantage of owners.
• Not fully understanding Thailand’s laws
• Communication problem between yacht owners and Thai government agents. Resulting in time consuming and unnecessary expenses.

For yacht owners and captains to come and visit Thailand care free, whether for refit projects on a yacht or just cruising around Thailand, we need to eliminate the above issues. Zolutions was established for these reasons.
